I originally drew a sketch for this design back in 2013, and after digging it up earlier this week, I finally decided to develop the units. The neatest part of this design is the fact that it is a fractal, so the pattern can theoretically be repeated forever!

Interstellar (Evan Zodl)

I folded 3 iterations for this particular model before the paper became too small to work with. Each iteration requires 6 square sheets of paper, and they are folded separately and can easily be assembled to one another without adhesives. The units are actually quite simple too, so I’ll probably diagram this one if there is enough interest!

Overall, I’m really happy with how this one turned out! Please let me know what you think!
