I recently finished working on a new instructional video! This time, I demonstrate how to fold Francesco Guarnieri’s “Origami Diamond Star.” For this model, you will need 8 square sheets of paper. Each unit is folded from a single square, and I recommend using 4″ squares to fold the units. Using 4″ squares will result in a final model about 7.5″ in diameter. Once you’ve prepared your paper, you are ready to fold your Origami Diamond Star!

Have you folded this model? Submit photos of your completed model here to be displayed in the new YouTube Gallery! Special thanks to Heinz Strobl for granting me permission to create this video. Model demonstrated by Evan Zodl.
